Dynojet Dyno results: 383ci with AFR 190s & ZZ9 cam:
The best I was able to pull was:
283 HP @ 4400 RPMs & 367 FT-LBS @ 3900 RPMs
With the 20% drivetrain loss these equal 354 HP/458 FT-LBS at the crank. These numbers were acheived with approximatley 52 psi of fuel pressure. I expected higher HP numbers at higher RPMs but it looks like the stock TPI unit is severely restricting airflow at upper RPMs. I did get a solid 270+ HP from 3900-4900 RPMs and 325+ FT-LBS from 3200-4500 RPMs so the power curve is VERY flat at the top then slowly drops off. I started at 48psi and raised in 2psi increments. Each bump in FP caused more HP at a much broader RPM range. I wasn't happy with the peak numbers at first until I studied the overall dyno charts and I'm satisfied (for now).
P.S. These dyno runs are with the stock plenum, runners, TB and injectors.
I recently added the SuperRam plenum/runners and 24# injectors but have not dynoed it again.
