"I have a 1970 Ford Maverick and would love to see it on your page."

It makes you happy when people enjoy something as much as you do.   Lori, I apologize for not getting your Maverick up sooner.

   Virtual Maverick

My Maverick is a rusty orange color, with white walls and an engine that wouldn't wake a baby. It purrs like the first day it was driven. That is only because my family has given it so much care, especially my grandfather. I am currently a senior in high school and all my friends say that I have the coolest car in the world, I think so too. My grandfather acquired this car in May of 1987 from a man in California. I actually flew out there with him to buy it. It has the original paint job and is holding up strong. The only downside to the car is that the outside is the only original part of the car. It has been redone under the hood
totally and the underneath isn't original either. It has the spirit of a Maverick and the guts of a variety of other cars. We do, however, have another Maverick that is ALL original. Tires, engine, even the seals. Its beautiful, with little or no rust. That one is gold in color. My grandfather treated his Mavericks like his children, and I hope to keep them looking as nice as he did and still tries to.
