The Adventures of Superman

The first batch of 26 Superman films were made in 1951
The only year that Phyllis Coates portrayed Lois Lane.
Conflicting stories surrounded George Reeve's death
on June 16, 1959--the coroner's verdict was that he
had committed suicide by shooting himself in the head.

Clyde McPhatter

Clyde Lensley McPhatter topped the R&B charts in 1951
with the Dominoes's R&B Hit "Sixty Minute Man"
Jackie Wilson replaced him in June of 1953
when Clyde left to form his own group, The Drifters.
On June 13, 1972, he died of a heart attack.
He was inducted into the Rock-and-Roll Hall of Fame in 1987

Montgomery Clift And Liz Taylor. Liz and Monty became lifelong friends after making this film together. Montgomery Clift died of a heart attack on July 23rd, 1966. He was 45 years old.
