Chris: How 'boutcha John?
John: Gotcha.
Greg: They're saying pit road speed will be around 4400, John.
John: 10-4.
**Note: Pitting in front of the #29; behind the #19. Right in front of me :-) **
Pace Laps:
John: Ok guys all the fans are on.
Greg: Make sure you have the mechanical fan on, John.
**Note: What's the difference from the other fans??**
Chris: 3rd time by here, bud.
Chris: Okay, John, there's your pit road speed.
John: Yeah it's gonna be 4400, 2nd gear.
Chris: 4400, 2nd gear. 10-4. Try to get some heat in those brakes to heat those pads up. Those are new pads all the way around. That's the only thing we changed, bud.
John: 10-4.
Greg: Ok, Big Chris, can you get the flag today?
Chris: 10-4. Yeah I'll get it.
Chris: 1 to go.
Chris: We're not going. We're not going this time, bud. We're not going.
Chris: 1 to go this time by.
John: 10-4 on 1 to go.
Chris: Okay. Be ready now. Be ready. Green flag.
Green flag:
Chris: Spin behind you, bud. Spin behind you. Caution is out.
Caution Lap 1: #8, #45, #9 wreck in Turns 1 and 2.
Chris: Race track's clean up here.
Chris: 1 to go, John.
John: 10-4.
Chris: Okay we're not going. They're saying there's a piece of debris down here.
Chris: Okay, 1 to go this time by.
John: 10-4.
Chris: Okay. Be ready now. Be ready. Green flag.
Restart Lap 4
John: (Lap 15) It's loose as **bleep**.
Chris: 10-4, bud.
**Note: (Lap 30) Almost went straight into Turn 1 wall**
John: (Lap 31) Can't steer it worth a **bleep**.
**Note (Lap 39) Buckshot lapped**
Pit Stop (Lap 59 for Buckshot) 23.03 seconds. 4 tires, fuel. Official made them re-address lug nuts on RR.
John: (Lap 61) Tell me when the leader is coming.
Chris: (Lap 63) That's the leader behind you.
**Note: (Lap 64) Lapped under green**
Greg: (Lap 70) Chris, we need to get low to get ready to pit.
Chris: (Lap 71) Pit this time by, bud. 4 tires.
Greg: Ok guys 4 tires. Bite IN. We're going to put bite in it, John. We're going to put bite in it.
Pit Stop (Lap 72) 14.38 seconds. 4 tires, fuel. Bite put in LR.
John: (Lap 97) Better in. Loose middle, off.
**Note: (Lap 100) Lapped under green.
John: (Lap 114) I just can't grab a hold of anything.
Chris: 10-4. 10-4, bud.
Greg: (Lap 150) Pit next time, Chris. Pit next time.
Chris: 10-4. Pit this time, John. Pit this time.
Greg: Ok guys, 4 tires.
Pit Stop (Lap 153) 14.66 seconds. 4 tires, fuel.
**Note: RF wheel a-flame!!**
John: (Lap 169) I just can't keep hold of the back well enough.
John: (Lap 170) The back just pulls and doesn't stick.
Chris: 10-4, bud. 10-4.
**Note: (Lap 175) Wondered why Buckshot literally raced down and through pit road...and then**
Chris: Caution is out, bud. Caution is out.
Caution Lap 176: #85 stalled on the backstretch.
John: Where's the leader?
Chris: #1 car.
John: I said, "WHO'S the leader."
Greg: Probably the #97 since they've already taken the caution.
**Note: Yup!**
John: It's solid going down, but too soft coming up. It's beating the rear tires.
Greg: I lowered the track bar last time in. Did that help with the back end?
John: It made it really tight. It tightened it into the corner. Really tight in the banking.
Greg: You want to open up the jets out back which could help the rear end?
**Note: I believe they were talking shock adjustments**
John: No. It pitches and dives the RF, too. If you could put something in the RF that would help.
Greg: 10-4. Put a rubber in the RF, Murph.
John: I have to go around 1 time first, right?
Chris: Yeah, 10-4.
Pit Stop (Lap 179) 17.72 seconds. 4 tires, fuel. Rubber in RF.
Greg: RF *interference*
John: Did we change the track bar back?
Greg: No. No John. If you want to we can do it and bring you back in.
John: I don't know. May as well stay out here in case there's another long green run again. How many laps down are we?
Greg: 2. 2 laps down. All the way down to 28th is 1 lap down. 29th on back is 2 laps down. We're 31st.
John: Okay. We may as well come in and do it now since now seems we have the time to do it.
Greg: 10-4. What makes the back end so bad?
John: Moving around more than anything makes it really bad. There is no side bite at all.
Greg: You want the rebound out of both fronts?
John: *interference*
Chris: Here he comes guys. He's here.
Greg: Go down on the track bar on the left side. Darian open up the front a couple of clicks.
Chris: Pace car is in 3 and 4.
Pit Stop (Lap 182) 38.56 seconds. Down on track bar, left side. Looked like shock adjustments also.
**Note: One of the boys went to clean off the front end **without Greg's knowledge** and he immediately told him to get back over the wall.
Greg: You get both of them Darian?
John: You want me back in or stay out?
Greg: Stay out, John.
Chris: Ooookay. It will be 1 to go when you get here.
John: 10-4 on 1 to go.
Greg: The #6 car is 3 laps down. I don't know what he did.
**Note: Was anyone doing anything glamorous on the track today?**
Chris: Pace car's off. Be ready now. Be ready. Green flag.
Restart Lap 187
John: (Lap 249) I'm having trouble up off.
Chris: 10-4, John. 10-4. You probably used a bunch of it using so much getting in.
Greg: What's the car doing now, John?
John: What's that?
Chris: Greg said, "What's the car doing now?"
John: *interference* (All I could here was something about 25% blocked......?)
John: I still don't have enough grip.
Greg: (Lap 257) Pit next time by Chris. Next time by.
Chris: 10-4. Pit this time, John. Pit this time by.
John: **Bleep**. It's low on the **bleep**ing brake pedal. This is just like Martinsville. We just keep getting murdered.
John: *frustrated* Just pull the windshield off.
Pit Stop (Lap 258) 17.25 seconds. 4 tires, fuel. Both front wheels smoking. RF really bad.
**Note: (Lap 260) Lapped under green.
John: (Lap 301) How many laps?
Chris: I can't see the board. I think there's 92.
**Note: Chris could not be any closer to the truth. The scoreboard was buried in bright, direct sun.
Greg: That was 300 laps.
John: 10-4.
Greg: (Lap 324) Pit next time by, Chris. Pit next time.
Chris: 10-4. Pit this time by, John. This time by.
Pit Stop (Lap 325) 14.44 seconds. 4 tires, fuel.
**Note: (Lap 350) Started packing it up and walked back to the car**
Chris: That smoke down in Turn 1 is a burnout in the pits.
John: How many laps?
Chris: 30.
Greg: 60.
Chris: I honestly don't know. I can't see the board at all.
**Note: No one could**
Greg: There's 60 laps left.
John: 30 or 60?
Greg: 60. Six zero.
John: I don't know if I can keep it up with the brakes like this.
Chris: 30 laps to go when you come by the start/finish.
Greg: Showing 20 laps left. Nice and smoothe.
Chris: Okay, bud. 10 laps back at the start/finish.
Chris: 3 laps to go.
Chris: Ok, bud. There's your checkers.
Checkered flag
