Ok then. This here is my bike. What a beauty. Whether you could class her as my first bike or not depends on how you look at the situation I guess.
When I was about 2 my dad bought me a Yamaha TY80 trials bike. However, it wan't until I was about 6 before I could actually ride it I guess. I apparently used to sit on the tank while he rode around. Bit of a lame excuse to buy a bike if you ask me dad but well.
At the age of about 12-13 the bike was sold as it was rarly used. I still have fond memories of it, riding with my dad on his Bultaco 250 over at "Carlton Bank" on the Cleveland hills. Lack of cash and little use was the detemaning factor though.
Later in life, about 17-18, like most teenage boys I guess, I started thinking about bikes again. Generally when it was sunny and they started zooming past you in the car. Hey who doesn't ever think how much fun it must be?
One thing led to another and I now am the prowd owner of this B-reg Kawasaki GPz600R (A1 model).
Bought for the pricely sum of �2,100 in September of 1996, with 28k on the clock. In the last 6 months I've put another 7k on it with a new set of tyres, brakes, oil/filter, etc....
