Pretty good run, a little spin but not too bad. This was the first of my three losses to Mustangs. This one was a coupe. It ran a 14.66 @ 98.9.

SECOND RUN

I spun like crazy (2.48 short time) and it just went downhill from there. Its not even worth giving all the details. But I'll say this much, 15.13 @ 92.4. That was the only 15 I ever ran

THIRD AND FINAL RUN

ET 1/4 Mile 14.4896

Reaction Time .7460

Trap Speed 96.8685

60 Ft time 2.3033

330 Ft time 6.1815

1/8 mile time 9.3973

1000 ft time 12.1513

This run suprised the hell out of me! It was more than I wanted or expected. I haven't stopped smiling since! Between the ET and Trap Speed improvements I can't be happier. My 60 ft was identical to the first run(it felt like a better launch though) but it ran like crazy after that. Some guy I was talking to up there was saying how good my 14.6 was especially with the mods and the AOD and leaving it in drive. I wonder if he saw my 14.4? By the way I don't heat up my tires and I launch at idle. Pretty good huh?

330 Ft time 6.4971

I don't know what happened here. My 60 foot was good. I think that was my best ever at that time but my car just didn't run good after that. It might have still been warm. Any way you look at it I was pissed!

SECOND RUN

ET 1/4 Mile 14.2334

Reaction Time .7559

Trap Speed 96.7278

60 Ft time 2.1876

330 Ft time 5.9980

1/8 mile time 9.1685

1000 ft time 11.8991

I was real mad before this run. I bought a bag of ice and cooled the intake just hoping for something better. I told myself and everyone that if I didn't get a 14 that night I wasn't doing anything to my car again. A 14.7 would have made me happy. When I saw the 14.2 I couldn't believe it. Especially since I hadn't done any work to my car. The air was about 10-15 degrees cooler than the last time. A friend of mine with a Mustang (modified alot more than mine) came running over to me and was shocked. He has an AOD too, but he shifts his (1-2-1) and he has recently only ran a 14.6. He swears up and down that I have more work done to my car, but to my knowledge I don't.

THIRD RUN

ET 1/4 Mile 14.3908

Reaction Time .08777

Trap Speed 97.0269

60 Ft time 2.2697

330 Ft time 6.1331

1/8 mile time 9.3243

1000 ft time 12.0621

My car hesitated off the line on this run. It had been sitting for an hour and a half and when I got to the line it was real cold. I was suprised I pulled the 14.3 but I was happy. I probably could have done better though.

FIRST RUN

Reaction Time 0.6383

Trap Speed 95.3662

60 ft time 2.2279

330 ft time 6.1300

Eighth Mile 9.3816

This was my first run in over a year and a half with no mods to the car. The car had not been running right for about the previous 5 months and me and my best friend had just brought it back to life. I went up there hoping to run at least a 14.50 and I got it on the first run. The was the first time I had ever ran on the michelin pilots and they hooked up good on this run. My MPH was a little lower that I would have liked.

SECOND RUN

ET 1/4 Mile 15.0472

Reaction Time .6944

Trap Speed 94.3883

60 Ft time 2.51436

330 Ft time 6.5385

1/8 mile time 9.8326

1000 ft time 12.6585

Well, I think its pretty obvious what the problem was here. The 60 ft blew. When I saw that up on the board I knew the rest of the run was already ruined. I'm not too discouraged with it though. If you notice, on the same day I ran a 14.23, I also ran a 15.2 @ 93, with a 2.2 60ft. That was clearly worse. I actually hooked up there but still ran like shit. I've come to the conclusion that my car is anything but consistent. If I would have hooked on this run I probably would have ran real close to my first time of the day. I ran against my best friend Kevin on this run. He pulled a 16.03 @ 85.3 in his 3.8 mustang. Thats his best run yet. I knew running against me would make him drive harder. I'm at least happy about that.
