The USLMRA sanctioned Buckeye regional was held on August 22, 1998 at the Union County Fairgrounds (All Ohio Balloon Festival). Above is a shot of the Hot Air Balloons during their evening show. Here's a shot of Trish Potenza from the Ohio Mower Racers overtaking Mark Boyce from Locust Grove, Georgia, in AP Class. Trish lost 3rd place in the trophy dash after some lap traffic cut into her line and wrecked them both. This picture is of the AP finishers: #4 - Nate Hendricks, Vanlue, Ohio (1st Place), #52 - Greg Honchell, Urbana, Ohio (2nd Place), and #1 - Mark Boyce, Locust Grove, Georgia (3rd Place). Here is Greg Honchell (leading the race) in the FX Class. Greg held off Mike Miller off for most of the race. Greg ended up finishing in 3rd. These guys are the top 3 finishers in the FX Class.
