The Art Show at Alfa Amici

Yeah, It's Cool, But Is It Art???

The Art Show was held Sunday morning June 20 at Alfa Amici, the 1999 national AROC convention at Kansas City. The show was sponsored by AR Ricambi and organized by Marian Hatcher, Hattie Cunningham, Sue Houser, and Janet Hirsch. Based on the number, the variety, and the quality of the entries, the Alfa art show at Alfa Amici was the best yet. There were about 45 entries and display pieces.

The show was judged by Jeanne Baldwin, a professional artist associated with the Nelson Atkins Museum of Fine Art.

There was also People's Choice balloting.
