Do he follow any other sports or motorsports? None, just Land Speed Racing.

Most Memorable Racing Acheivement: When asked this, Waldo chose to select "rat" racing, a game of high-speed tag through the streets of Chicago and suburbs, played with a group of other hot-rodding friends when Waldo was a teenager. It wasn't uncommon to hit speeds well over 100mph on city streets. Reflecting back on it, he agreed they were very lucky noone ever crashed. He said a few dents were the extent of it.

Waldo says other motorsports are too restricted for his taste, what with most other major forms of racing putting technology and creativity on the backburner in exchange for safety and a better show in recent years. Land Speed Racing is the least restricted form of racing today. And leave it to Waldo to break even the rules of Land Speed Racing, choosing to use rocket-power, with a composite sled, on a frozen lake.

Greatest Influence on his life - His wife Karen (who influenced him to stop rat-racing!)
