Hesperia, California (August 14, 1997) - Waldo Stakes' will be at Bonneville in September with the Pretty Woman team trying to top 280mph on gas. Last season at Bonneville he drove the Pretty Woman gas comp coupe at just under 200mph. He had engine problems and had to shut down. The car has previously gone 256mph. The team owner is Ron Pruett. Only one gas nonblown car has gone faster. Pretty Woman has the potential to exceed 300mph. We will let you know how things go.
