This is my tribute to my local track. Orange County Speedway is the home of
the future stars of NASCAR. Names like Jeff Gordon, Bobby Labonte, Michael Waltrip,
The Burton Brothers, and most recently Elliot Sadler all raced at OCS. They
were once a regular stop on the Busch Grand National Circuit. Now they race
the traditional Late Model Stock, Limited Sportsman, Pure Stock, Hooter's Cup, Mid-Atlantic
Modifieds, Allison Legacy, Legends, and of course the Mighty Mini Stock Divisions.
This page is a tribute to the regular late model stock drivers of OCS. Pictures

Scott Riggs
The hardest working driver in the business
Deac McCaskill
one of the youngest and most talented drivers in the field at 19 years old
Maurice Hill
a living legend driving the most laps at OCS
Jason Gullie
a man who spent many a Saturday night chasing Elliot Sadler around the 3/8 of a mile track
finally beating him making it his "most cherished moment"
Bob Ward
one of my personal favorites, who drives a Rick Hendrick's sponsered car, he is also the head of the NC division of 1-800-MARROW2
Barry Beggarly
5 time, and reigning champion at OCS with the most wins at the track, including a 10 win winning streak this season.
On Sunday August the 24th, the people from 1-800 MARROW2 sponsered a blood marrow drive at Orange County Speedway.
I am pleased and overwhelmed to say that the fans at OCS beat the record for numbers of donors! Congratulations OCS Fans!
Five Winston Cup drivers were on hand to sign autographs and do an exibition race for our fans. Terry Labonte, Mike Skinner, Sterling Marlin,
Kenny Wallace, and Jeremy Mayfield were there. David Greene was scheduled to appear, however after his terrible wreck at Bristol, he was unable to attend.

For all who are curious, Sterling Marlin won the exibition race.
