There were 46 lead changes at the UAW-GM Quality 500 and
Bobby Labonte was the leader when it counted the most.

Bobby Labonte had a few battle wounds but
come out on top to take the win at Charlotte.

Dale Earnhardt lead and ran up front most
of the day. Late in the race the handling
went away and he finished 11th.

that also ruined Dale Jarrett's
chances for a run at the championship.
