This is a real race car, built in the early '70s. This car has a fully prepared chassis and has been raced nearly continuously. It is not a street car with a roll bar welded inside.
Logbooks are included as verification of its history. It is not something famous but it is a legitimate racer. It has the current SCCA safety equipment and is built to handle the strain of racing. You can feel pretty safe in this car, unlike some I have driven.
The car has raced at Daytona, Sebring, Watkins Glen, Bridgehampton, Summit Point, Roebling Road, Gainesville Int'l., and Moroso/Palm Beach Int'l.
Short History
The basic history as known is that the car, owned by Kenneth Clark, was totaled in 1970 by an engine fire. It was purchased back and raced in SCCA and NCCC events. NCCC modifications became greater and when purchased by Richard Harris of Ft. Lauderdale in 1976 from Jim Wilson of Jacksonville, the car could not compete any longer in SCCA Production classes. It then ran in A Sports Racer until 1983. In 1987, I bought it and returned it to the track in 1988.
