mph Corvette
I only wish I was as lucky as the Car and Driver
editors. John Lingenfelter did the amazingly cool installation of a Chevy
SB2 small-block motor, like they use in NASCAR. The only difference is
this one displaces 427 cubic inches and is street legal. This gives C/D's
Corvette 603 hp which propels it to 60 mph in 3.2 seconds and to a terminal
velocity of 212 mph. All this from a naturally aspirated small-block. The
pictures speak for themselves.
