This weeked can be summed up in just a few words. I GOT A FASTER TIME THAN WST! Actually, he came in first, I came in second, in Sundays race, but I did edge him by a milli-second to get a faster lap
The weekend had strong winds, strong rains and one day of relatively nice weather.
Jim toasted a main bearing in his Sprite on Saturday, so sat out the race on Sunday. WST and I had a great race in the rain. There were not many cars out there for the race, so we had a great time chasing each other. He spun twice in front of me, but I let him catch up (I did, WST, really) so we could play a little. That was my mistake. When he got by me again, and I saw how he was ALL OVER THE TRACK, sideways, I said,,,"stay back Gar, dont even think of trying to pass this guy"..which is what I did, but we had some fun!
The weather was cruddy, but the fun was fantastic.
