All gone... and yes, cylinder #5, the steam cleaned one is the source of all trouble, obviously! New water pump is bought and painted while it is so nicely accessible! |

Heads look good from far away. NO signs of a gasket leak though. |

Aha, there it is. Head cracked! Doh. Thanks to the classic oldsmobile mailinglist a replacement (#8 head) is on the way shortly. |
