Exterior Pics

I love the look of the Lumina Z34 hood vents and the Z26 front bumper. It really gives the car an aggressive look.

Since I had the vents mounted too far back (and my auto body guy didn't check for clearances before he started cutting), the drip trays that came with them wouldn't fit. There wasn't enough room between the strut tower and the hood. Dooh! My auto body guy had to install them without the drip tray in order for the hood to close. Since the vents had a straight shot through to the engine bay, they really vented heat nicely. However, since I live in the Seattle area, having the vents open to the engine bay also meant that the rain could come right on in. To solve this problem I bought some sheet metal and made a cover for under the vents. Then I drilled one hole for the water to drip through where it wouldn't get anything important wet. These covers should also keep me legal in the Street Prepared class for SCCA because they render the vents nonfunctional. I could, however, remove the 4 nuts you see on the cover and have open vents again for summer driving.

Finally, the ground effects are done!!! I think it looks great. The wheels are 16 X7.5 " Eagles and the tires are 225 / 50 R16 Dunlop D60 A2s. The new tires and wheels really improved the handling!

Here is the back of my car with the new Z26 bumper. I keep forgetting to order the Chevrolet sticker that goes on the right side, but it will be coming soon. You can also see my 1" Addco sway bar and my DynoMax Ultra Flo muffler.

The Kumhos

Here is my car sitting on its new Kumho tires. They are 225/50/R15.

This is what it looks like from the side with Kumhos. I bought a second set of wheels that are 15 inches for the Kumhos. I found some American Eagle type 041 wheels that look similar to my 16 inch wheels so it will look similar on the race course and on the street.
