Bugatti Brescia
Bugatti built the 4-cylinder type 13 already before the war but the in 1920 the production of the 16-valve version started. It was called the Brescia after the success there in 1921 and so were all later cars of the type 13 and the touring types 22 and 23. 2000 were built up to 1926. The car in these pictures is a "Brescia modifiée" with longer chassis and relocated steering box to move the driver forward. The 1500 cc engine delivers around 40 B.H.P. to the 4-speed gearbox. This late model has much-needed 4-wheel brakes.
