Automated
mailing lists, or listservers, are a great way of discussing anything MX-5 or Miata
related with anyone else who has subscribed to the list. When you send a message to the list it is automatically copied to all the subscribers, anyone may reply via sending a reply to the list, or they may reply to you personally. Good netiquette demands that you don't post binary files, because of the amount of net traffic that generates. Please try to stay on-topic, ie MX-5/Miata related, and messages that won't be of interest to the community should be sent directly to the party involved. Try not to quote entire messages unless absolutely necessary. Finally, the best way to deal with "flame bait", messages which are written deliberately to provoke an angry response, is to delete them. People who write such messages usually then go away. Worldwide ListThe worldwide list is administered by
Keith Tanner from Canada. If you have trouble subscribing or unsubscribing send a messsage
to [email protected] To subscribe, click here ([email protected]) and put "subscribe miata NAME" in the body of the message where "NAME" is your name. (You can leave the subject blank.) To send a message to the list, send it to [email protected] European ListThe European list is provided and administred by Hugo Fiennes from the UK. It tends to have a UK bias but we are a friendly lot and anyone is welcome. The list is smaller than the Worldwide list and averages about a dozen messages per day To subscribe to the list send a message with the word "subscribe" in the subject to [email protected] To un-subscribe send a message with the word "unsubscribe" in the subject to [email protected] To send a message to the list, send it to [email protected] Alternatively you can subscribe to the digest and get one message per day comprising all the messages that have been posted to the list. To subscribe to the digest send a message with the word "subscribe" as the subject to [email protected]
