I currently own 2 beetels. A 1963, and a 1971. I am in love with both of them. I eieved my fist bug when I was 16. Little by little I am trying to restore them. They bot run geat and give me few broblems. This is one of the hings tht I love about volk wagens. They keep going and going and going. My compliments on your web page. keep up the work on the '67.

Your page is great. It is amazing but my bug was brought by my grandfather brand new and my father kept it and gave the car to me. My father and I are restoring it. The pictures of the rotted floors look like they are identical to ours. We are from New Je sey and are trying to find somebody who we can trust to replace the floor. Also I was wondering if there is a suggestion for a place to get parts such as chrome and other parts. We are also trying to find someone to redo the seats with as close as we can et it to the original any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks for the great site it gives me hope.

I bought a red 67 bug in april 98.We're in very similar stages of restoration. My basement is full of bug parts. Only the stripped shell of the car remains in the driveway, awaiting pickup from my friend, who owns a body shop.If you get time, update me on your progress.
