Mid-Michigan MOPAR Enthusiasts is an all MOPAR and AMC car club, serving the Lansing and surrounding areas. We are a non-profit club, organized for the purpose of enjoyment, maintenance and restoration of Chrysler Corporation products.

The club has been around since 1992, it started in Williamston with 6 members. As the club grew, it broke into two clubs in 1994, one in Lansing and one in Flint, because of the long drive between the two areas. Both clubs keep in constant contact and try to attend each others functions.

We range from between 40 and 45 couples in our club at any given time. Dues are $10 per couple per year, mostly to cover the cost of a monthly NEWSLETTER. The newsletter contains information on the previous month's events and future meetings and cruises. One page SPOTLIGHTS a different members car each month. We have a spring picnic, a Halloween party and a Christmas party. Usually, a winter trip is planned. We try to make it to CAPRI DRIVE-IN Theater in Coldwater a couple of times in the summer. A CAR SHOW is hosted each year, this will be the sixth show at Beacon Sales in Charlotte. Turn out is normally in the 75 to 100 car range. Last year we had 163 cars and trucks.

Our members are as varied as their cars with the love of MoPars holding them together. We have a core of ten couples that make most functions, the rest fill in when they have time. We have members that do quite well drag racing, members that do shows and some that do both.

Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month at a variety of restaurants thru-out the winter. Summer meetings are usually held on the road.

Mid-Michigan Mopar Enthusiasts is a member of the SEMA Action Network(SAN). SAN is a nationwide partnership between vehicle clubs and the specialty auto parts industry designed to help stamp out legislative threats to the automotive hobby and pass favorable laws.
