TIPS AND TRICKS! On the track tips At the hole shot on many races you will see a couple car pileup in the first corner sometimes I have found that when you see this occur the best thing to do is that next race fall back a little and let everyone crash why you go flying by with no problems. One way of keeping the person behind you to stay back there on that last lap is to let them follow you right up close and one way is to let him go is to block pass him. To do this you would stay on the gas in a corner and force him to slow down (or he would end up in the pits!). At that time when he slows down you can still accelerate and leave him eating your roost.
Tips for the car or truck
1. MOTOR-BEARING DIRT SEAL I have found that the rubber shock gasket that usually fits over Tamiya's yellow shock units also fits over the endbell on a motor which will keep out dirt and oil. This will help your bearings last longer in your motors. 2. CLEANING YOU COMM. MADE EASY I found that if you cut a piece of a ink eraser that fits the same size as where the brushes go in that it polishes your comm. just as good as one you can buy. Just push it in until it hits you commutator then turn the armature until it is as clean as you want it. 3. Voltage down! If you use the #1156 auto bulb that people also use for discharging packs you can make a motor break in easily. With a system of leads and crocodile clips or plugs , you can put this bulb in a series and use your stock 7.2v Ni-Cd pack to break in your motors. 4. Frequency Crazy! For 75mhz radios there are many different channel No. (61-90) I have seen many people using odd frequency numbers before. In some places this is ilegal but in some it is not. Running these odd frequency numbers can really mess things up! When odd numbers are used your frequency is only .020 away from the onw above and below it. So if you dont have such a powerful radio you are probabley get taken over by the guy next to you! 5. Motor Break-in Made Easy! By using a resistor in a adaptor that will connect to your 6-cell battery you can break in your motor. All you have to do is go to your local radio shack and get a 7w resistor and splice and connect.![]()
