This is him. The probably best racing driver in the F1 history. Micheal Schumacher. His two world-champion titles won in Benetton-Ford and Benetton-Renault will never be forgotten. He became my favourite driver when he first drove laps in a Jordan.

Micheal Schumacher:

At just 27 years old, Germany's Michael Schumacher has already confirmed himself as the fastest Grand Prix driver of the new era, claiming back-to-back World Drivers Championships in 1994 and 1995.

Born in Kerpen near Cologne in 1969, Schumacher first raced karts at the age of five, winning the German and European championships before switching to cars in 1988. Formula Konig champion and European Formula Ford runner-up in his debut season, he was second in the German Formula Three Championship in 1989 before claiming the title in 1990. By that time, Schumacher had also risen to international prominence as a member of the Mercedes-Benz Junior Team in the World Sportscar Championship, and winner of the Macau F3 Grand Prix.

Schumacher made a stunning Grand Prix debut at Spa in 1991, qualifying seventh in a Jordan. He was quickly snapped up by the Benetton team, with whom he recorded 19 Grand Prix wins, 10 pole positions, and 23 fastest race laps from 1992 to 1995.

Third in the World Championship in both 1992 and 1993 with one victory each season, Schumacher won the 1994 crown in the wake of the tragic death of Ayrton Senna and a series of controversial incidents at Benetton. Schumacher removed any lingering doubts in 1995 by becoming the youngest-ever driver to claim consecutive titles, his devastating speed and racecraft defeating all rivals.

Before the 1995 Italian Grand Prix, it was announced that Schumacher would drive for Ferrari for the next two years, as a key player in Maranello's plans to regain the World Championship. I am sure that those two World Championship's won't be the only ones in his life!
