This is about my 1971 Torino 500. I bought it my senior year in high school for $500. It has 142,000 miles on it. It's a 2 door with dark green paint and dark green with lime green inside. Has an am radio and 302 motor. I have now put two more pictures up of my car. It sits under a tree gettng pollen all over it. I really need to get it running. Been sitting for 2 years now. Brakes are totally shot. But hey it looks good standing still.

UPDATE 6/30/00: Finally I get off my butt and say something new about my Torino. Well nothing except that it has moved to two different places in the last 6 months and not under its own power. First it moved off to my brothers place as the lady across the street was selling her house and said you need to move your car. So it got towed off and then my brother got in trouble with his landlord over too many cars that are being used for storage and it had to be moved. So we loaded it up on his trailer and towed it off to the storage lot. So now it sits in a storage lot under a $75 car cover. Waiting for me to fix it which I plan on doing as long as I don't buy any more cars. And no my Torino is not for sale.

Update 9/4/2002: My Torino is still sitting as it has been oh about 7 years since I have done anything to the car. It still is in pretty good shape for sitting around. I need to get a new car cover for it. Plus it has a bunch of old car seats and auto parts in it. I have come up with a plan to build a 429 out of a 1971 Thunderbird and put it in my Torino. Or I thought about it. I am currently planing to build a garage on my property and put all my cars out there so I can work on them.

This is the car that started it all. Our Torino 500 just like mine except with a 351. Pictured is my dad, me and a uncle.
