In stead of the conventional spaceframe used in the most seven type cars I opted for a "box-frame".
photo's in my garage (sorry for the mess)

Welding of the square tube aluminium "frame"
In fact it's only the glueing mold to get the plates on their
place

"Party time" the engine and diff. really fit
The wheels are still not very firmly fitted to the chassis

The diff. is connected to the gearbox by a torque tube.
This means the driving torque will not load the chassis and the
combination engine-gearbox-diff. can be fitted with only three
silentblocks, one on the diff and two on the engine

My petroltank is in the front between the wheels, 30 liter (not
very much?)

Here I am glueing the sandwich plates to the welded frame. The plates that stay out of sight are secured with rivets in case of an accident.

This is the completed chassis, the weight is 67 kg and the measured torsional stiffness is 9000 Nm/degree (twice as stiff as an Escort Cosworth).

This is the pedalbox, as you can see it is upside down to get the most ergonomical feet movement . The pedalbox is adjustable in two T-slots in the bottom plate!
