OK this is the history on my 84 SS. I
bought the car on september 9th 1998 so i guess that KINDA
makes me a newbie in MCSS's, but i am gettin into heavy.
When i bought the car it stil had the original 305 L69 HO
motor in it with the stock th350c transmission. When i
first saw it i loved it ALOT. It was my buddies car and i
knew how he treated the car, not good. It also had very
tacky tindted windows on it wich i didnt like at all. It
also had a windshield tint which was hard to see out of.
The interior was dirty, and the inside of the trunk had
been all tore up because of the stereo equipment he had in
the car. When we brought it home the ignition key got stuck in the ignition or it wouldnt turn, we got a new ignition
that night and I was off cruising within 1 hour. The car
had been in the previous owners hands for 3 years before
that, the owner lived in kenton ohio where that owner had
special ordered the car in 1984, the car had been through 3 owners. When we did buy the car the guy at the car lot told us to be careful it was about ready to blow (the engine)
and he said he was glad to get rid of it because he had so
many ppl look at it, he said "I cant get any work done
around here with that car sittin out there" I knew I was
getting something special when I bought the SS for
$2,300.00.
