Provided Year 2000 project management services to three Houston based corporations. Created the world-wide technical hardware and software inventory for National Oilwell, Inc. Performed the Discovery phase of the Year 2000 project at the headquarters location of American General Corporation.  Managed both the Discovery and Evaluation/Planning phases of the embedded systems project for Chevron’s North American Exploration And Development sites. Assignments included executive level status presentations, managing a staff of consultant specialists, planning, data analysis, educating and interfacing with business unit executives, and the tracking third-party vendor and other party Year 2000 compliance status and plans. Most recently assigned as Special Examiner for the Texas Department of Insurance performing examinations of IS Controls and Year 2000 projects undertaken by insurance companies doing business in this state.

Designed and managed the development of several PL/1 programs used in the testing of systems support personnel working on mainframe Time Sharing Systems (TSS/67, MVS). In DP division, served as Staff Services Manager, Industry Product Support Manager and Financial Industry Strategist. As a salesman I made the largest non-governmental sale in IBM history to Western Bancorp, creating First Interstate Bank.
