| I own a 1967 Ford Mustang Coupe. I got this car in November of '95. I really haven't done much to it as far as restoration goes because it was almost fully restored when I got it. It is bright red with a black interior, Styled Steel Wheels, a 289 V-8, and an automatic transmission. Options include power steering, Sprint hood, stainless-steel interior, and upper and lower console. I'm the third owner of this car. The first owner was a truck driver, he put about 4k miles on it. The second owner bought it from the truck driver in '68. He and his wife drove the car, then it was there son's first car. Then the car was restored. The engine and transmission has been totally rebuilt. Now I have the car. I drive the car everyday, so it does get used and enjoyed. In May of '96 I put it in a Mustang show at Magic City Ford in Roanoke, VA. I got first place in the Daily Driver Division for '67-'68 coupes. Then in May of '97, it was again entered in the Mustang show, in which I took second, only this year I was not in the Daily Driver Division. In May of '98, I took third in my division, the show was judged by the participants of the show. I was unable to attend the '99 show becuase I was still away at school. I am now in the process of adding GT equipment to my Mustang, so far I have the GTA badges and white stripes. |
