The Fredericton Fire Fighters Association is involved in fund raising for local charities.

The Fredericton Fire Fighters Local 1053 of the IAFF proudly supports an annual Fire Prevention Guide.
The proceeds from this annual guide go towards organization and charities in our local community.

Fredericton Fire Fighters also held this past winter the Provincial Moosehead Breweries Fire Fighters Curling Championship, which was held January 23-26, 1997.

Over 40 Members of the Fredericton Fire Department recently joined with community volunteers, V.O.N. staff, CFB Gagetown Military Personnel, MLA's, City Police, City Councillors and other senior city staff members in a fundraising breakfast to support the work of the V.O.N. With donations of product from corporate sponsors, over 3000 breakfasts were sold and distributed to various people throughout the city. The Fredericton Fire Fighters Association were proud to have been asked to help organize and participate in this worthwhile event.
