| Here is a shot of that ugly interior as it looked when I bought it. Yeah it needs some major work! I wasn't too woried about the inside at this time though. All I wanted was a running car. After changing the distributor to an HEI and firing with open headers in the storage shed about 9:00pm in the evening I was eager to take it for a little drive! So I drove it to my house with no lights, tags, or insurance. It seemed to run rather well. I had already put new rotors on it and front brakes so I had brakes but that B&M shifter had to go! What a piece of JUNK! B&M makes some good shifters but I'll never put another one in my car! I replaced it a week later with a Hurst Pro-Matic. I love this automatic shifter! Now you are updated to where all the real trouble began. This is the point where my real bad migraine headache started! |
