
| Here's what the engine compartment looked like after the 305 was out. It is not an air conditioned car like my first 70 Chevelle was. If I wouldn't have been so impatient on getting it running I probably would have pulled that turbo 400 transmission too, as later on I had to pull it due to blowing the tailshaft housing on it. I didn't paint the engine compartment yet when I put the new 350 in because I know I will have the body shop do it when I put the big block back in the car. The complete wiring harness will also be replaced along with adding stainless steel braided hoses and aluminum fittings on everything. |
