| The reason this picture is in this restoration part of the site is to show everyone what color my car was originally. I will restore it back to it's original color. The color code is #25 which is what they called medium blue metalic in 1970. My Chevelle was an exact replica to this car and I can only hope my restoration turns out as well as this owner's did. When I do have my Chevelle painted I have decided to have the car shot with at least 5 coats of clear. I want a real "depth" look when you look at it. When I start all the body work, all the sheet metal will be replaced and I will not use non-oem quarters or any other piece! Yeah, the body shop will think I'm a real pain in the ass! :) |
