Well here is how it looked the day I bought it. I rented a storage shed since I didn't have a garage to work on it in. I feel very lucky that I saved alot of parts from my first 70 Chevelle SS. Since this car had a VERY tired wimpy 305 I decided to build a strong 366 small block for while I am still in the process of restoring it. I do still have a 396 (402) big block and lucky enough the numbers match my car! I guess I lucked out on that one. Th big block will eventually be built an put in the car. As you can see it's no cream puff. I really was
in a hurry to get it running so excuse all the oil and the mess on the floor.
