it was the only "bolt on" that really gave real low end torque (except
a turbo).
Before I had to get rid of this car, I sold this VSR unit to Darell
at Techtonics
Tuning. This is the manifold he did his testing on. He liked it as well, but
just lust like me, he thought it was too expensive.
Too bad you can't get this part from VW Motorsport anymore, I read
that they stopped production. But all is not lost in the world of VR6 intake
manifolds. Schrick now makes the manifold in a three piece design, which is
actually larger inside than the Motorsport VSR. Not only do you get the big time
low end torque of the VSR, but you get some real hp on top. The Motorsport VSR
never really gave much of an increase in peak hp.
