My favorite TV shows and Movies

Yes, I like to be couch potato at times, especially on the weekend. I am glad that TV stations like fX have brought back some good shows.

Miami Vice:

One of my favorites has to be Miami Vice. I watched this show every Friday night when it first came out and now it is on twice a night on fX. Check out the link. It has about all the info you could ever want to know about Miami Vice, including a mail list!

I have found yet another Miami Vice link. This place about everything you would want. Check it out HERE. There is also information about the new, uncut Miami Vice episode videos that are now available through Columiba House Video.

Also, for you Don Johnson fans, you should check out his new show on Friday nights: Nash Bridges. For more information, check out these links:

Nash Bridges FAQ -Includes info on the 'Cuda, his guns, and his ex-wives.

Better Off Dead:

This is probably my all time favorite movie. It stars John Cusack in the role of Lane Myer. His girlfriend just broke up with him, his parents are "weird" and his brother is a genius. He tries many different ways of killing himself, but never succeds. He finally meets Monique who helps turn him around. He wins the ski race and gets the good girl. And best of all, he drives a CHOICE 1st Gen Camaro. I would love to have that car!!!!

I have only found one site on the web for this movie. If you know of more, please let mw know.

Star Wars:

1997 will be the 20th Anniversery of the first Star Wars movie. This original movie spawned the greatest trilogy in Movie history. The Saga of Luke Skywalker, Princess Leah, Han Solo, C3-P0, R2D2, and Darth Vader has kept many a person enthrawled for hours on end. Now, if they would just do the first 3 episodes, it will be complete.

Home Improvement:

In my humble opinion, Home Improvement is one of the best sitcoms on TV today for guys who love "More Power"!!!! This show features Tim "the tool man" Taylor, (played by Tim Allen), and his daily adventures with his family, Al, and Mr. Wilson. The show has been on for many years now and still continues to make me laugh, even when watching the reruns.

Well, in my unenlightnened days, the following 3 movies would have been a waste of my time. But since I have come to enjoy some of the finer things in life, the following 3 movies have become 3 of my favorites. It is a collection of movies directed by Kevin Smith. And the one common theme that ties them all together is Jay and Silent Bob, 2 of the coolest dudes to yet walk this planet. Just make sure they are always on your side.

Dazed and Confused

Dazed and Confused. If you are a person that knows anything about life, you know this movie. If you went to middle school or high school during the '70's, or have any good memories about the '70's, you had better know what this movie is all about. I was in elementary school during the '70's, but all the images of the clothes, cars, and people are still stuck in my head. The first time I saw this movie was in college with a bunch of guys from my fraternity. It was totally awesome. We ended up watching it least once a day for a couple weeks straight. The people, cars, and clothes are straight out of the '70's. I love this flick. This is one that I finally bought on tape to add to my collection. It is a definite classic. I would love to start spitting out quotes of awesome lines from the movie, but out of context, they just aren't as funny. You have got to check this movie out.
