My 1986 Chevy Camaro Z28

This is my 1986 Z28, another of my favorites. Although the car only had the LG4 carburated 305 and a weak 2.73 rear, it did have the TH700-R4, T-Tops and was in pristine condition. I got the car in the fall of 1993 and it only had 41,000 miles on it. Not bad for a 7 year old car. It was owned by an older lady and it had never seen a winter. It looked like it was just driven off the showroom.

This thing was another head turner, and I loved having the T-Tops. And believe it or not, it did not have a single squeak or rattle.

Here are the mods I did to it:

• 305 HO dual snorkel air filter
• Accel Cap, Coil, and plug wires
• Comp Cams dual pattern cam
• 160 degree thermostat
• Hypertech fan switch and Thermomaster chip
• Custom 3 1/2" exhaust with Dynomax SuperTurbo muffler
• High Flow cat
• BFG Comp TA HR4 tires
• Pioneer CD player with Remote control and CD changer controls
• Alpine plate speakers for the dash
• Pioneer 3-ways in rear sides
• 2 Kicker 10" Solobaric subs in rear well
• Phoenix Gold M-44 and M-50 Amps running everything, using crossovers on Amps for the system.
• Motorola Cellular Phone with hatch mounted antenna
• Ungo Alarm with motion sensor, hatch/door release, window roll-up, remote start

They car was not the fastest thing around, but it sounded mean and would easily leave 2 long black marks when ever I wanted to. It would take a fare amount of mods on a Mustang to beat it.
