************************************** SVGA COCKPITS ************************************

These cockpits are based on different magazines I've consulted.

In some cases, they even explained the function of each buttons.
As you can see, I've included most of them.

You'll find enclosed, a description of their functions, and a list of the modifications done to the original cockpit from "Gp2".

For those who don't know, rename the ".pcx" file to: "cpithi.pcx"
Move or Copy the file "cpithi.pcx" to: C:\GP2\BITMAPS (or otherwise if you've installed your game in another directory).

MODIFICATIONS:

* Steering wheel and display zone modified (I have to give credits to a great artist: Manuel Laguatan <laguatan@agames.com> )
* Center wheel hub removed (the whole center area of the wheel has some "carbon fiber")
* Colors of the gears indicator replaced / similar to what I've seen on some motorcycles
* Rev-limiter lights changed
* Pit signals changed
* Replay indicator replaced by the logo of a Canadian Sports network ("TSN"), the "ESPN" logo was too wide and needed to be scaled too much, making it poorly visible...
* The race car diagram from the damage indicator is changed to dark green shades
* In most cases, the race team and the engine supplier logos were added
* Description of the warning lights were added:
  - "Dmg" represents the "Damage" warning light
  - "Fuel" represents the "Low fuel" warning light
  - "Split" represents the intervals times messages and the distances to the nearest "CC"
  - "Msg" indicates a "Message" from your crew is displayed on your dash

* The suggested gear indicators are replaced by the words; "slow", "medium" and "fast".
By using different colors, I've been told by people who use the "gear help indicator" that it is much easier to use.
The fact that we all have different driving styles and use different set-ups makes the suggested gear number a confusing HELP...

* "94" is used to indicate the computer cars performance when "94 level" is selected
* An "FIA" approval badge is added on the right side of the cockpit wall

* The driver's aids icons are replaced by an abreviation of their function:
  - "BH" > "Brake Help"
  - "AT" > "Automatic Transmission"
  - "SR" > "Spin Recovery"
  - "D" with a red X > "Undestructible car"
  - "RL" > "Racing Line"
  - "GH" > "Gear Help"
  - "TC" > "Traction Control"

* "MOMO" logo improved

* "T" (orange) > "Talk" button (used when the driver wants to communicate with his crew)
* "R" (red) > selects the "reverse" gear (can only be enabled from the neutral position)

* "Power" switch(silver switch with a red cover on the left cockpit wall)
  - "o" > "Off"
  - "p" > "Power On" / activates all electrical and electronics accessories(dimmed yellow light)

I hope this cockpit will add a little realism to your game...

Enjoy !
