We got to know each other over lunch at the Burger King, while discussing the various struggles we'd had to get there that day.
 

For some of us our cars looked much the worse for wear!

It was my first opportunity to see that famous car 'COO' in the flesh:

For a while there it looked like Adrian was going to be replacing Beefy but apparently it was not to be.

We departed for the pub around 14:15 - not before a few fill-ups at the garage - arriving at the pub, to discover it's got a great! car park!!!.

The weather had been good to us, and we enjoyed a quiet drink a good natter.

For those of you who thought about coming along, but didn't - now you know what you were missing!
