In 1973 the car was purchased by a Calais High School student who lived on Manning Street. He was going to "Hot Rod" the car but decided against it since he thought the vehicle was too heavy. During the storage the roof was dented by children.
In 1975, a teacher at Sumner High School in Sorrento, Maine, purchased and restored the car. Restoration included a two-tone blue paint job. The vehicle was run occasionally, in the summer, and stored inside, during the winter.
The next owner Robert Newell of Seeley's Cove, NB, sold the car in 1988, to Don Ross from Grand Bay,NB, who did an extensive restoration. Work included a motor job, paint, rechrome, brakes, front end, interior and a host of other repairs. In 1990 and 1996, Mr. Ross drove the car on the Gaspe Coast Antique Auto Tour and the Cabot Trail Tour in 1994.
The car was purchased August 16, 1997, by the present owner, Jim Breau, a teacher from Miramichi (Chatham), N.B. Canada. This car has been featured on the My Classic Car website and is on the Hemmings Motor News Car Show .
