1992 Audi 100S
The car you see pictured below is a 1992 Audi 100S. I bought it in May of 1995, with 49k miles on it. It now has 208k miles on it... and is still going strong!! It is just being "broken in"!!.
It is Titanium with a black leather interior. It has the cold-weather package, which includes my favorite option: heated seats. Once you "toast your buns" on a cold winter morning, you'll be spoiled and never want to own a car without them. The package also includes heated mirrors and door locks, and headlight washers (which also are a great feature, and a "blast" to watch in action!!).
It is the front-wheel drive version, with a 2.8L V-6 engine. The engine, with 10.3:1 compression, puts out 172 h.p. at 5500 rpm and 184 ft. lbs. of torque at 3000 rpm. It's power is best described as "adequate". It is not a stop-light racer by any means, but it loves the highway, and it handles superbly. It is the best car I've ever owned. In fact, I've taken it out on the "track", with the QCUSA, for two years at Lime Rock Park in Connecticut. Pictures can be seen here: Lime Rock '97
