The one that got away, same old story, I know! Fact is, I wasn't even
born at the time, not even close! But I will tell the story anyways.
The picture was taken in 1970 in Pictou, Nova Scotia (Pictou causway to be
exact - just in case anyone cares). Anyways, the car was bought form the original owner
by me father some time in 1968. The car was fairly rare, being a RS/SS, had a
Muncie M-22 (factory) and was a rare factory hurst equiped - badges and all!
(One right beside the gas cap to the right). The car also had a 350/295HP engine,
console with guages, custom back interior, vinyl roof, spoiler equiptment
, door edge guards, and front bumper guards to name a few! (That's all I hnow of!)
My father still says he wished he hadn't have sold it, but then again,
it happens all the time - out with the old, in with the new - a 1973 Corvette to
be exact!
