At 1:00pm, 12 Volkswagens (and one Jeep Cherokee) gathered in the Sam's Club parking lot at I-74 and Northbend Road. The weather was beautiful for the first time of any of our gatherings! It didn't rain for once! Five Mk2 Sciroccos, one Mk1 Scirocco, four A2 GTis, one A3 Golf, and one New Beetle were there for an afternoon of fun.

At about 1:30, we hit the road and traveled to Brookville Lake about 45 minutes away in Indiana. The site of 12 VW's tearing up the highway was incredible! Watching the A2 GTi-VR6 and A2 GTi-G60, both with Ralley Golf grills (and more!) speed ahead was a rush. They slowed down once they realized they didn't know where we were going.

"Johhny Mac" and the rest of his crew made it down from Dayton again. It's always great to see him and Collin (the killer Mk1 Rocco!) and meet his new companions.

Thanks to everyone that came. As usual, we had a wonderful time and met a few more people! Til next time.... Drive safe!
