There is some rot here so I picked up a floor panel from www.ss396.com to replace what is bad.  I have picked up a Craftsman MIG welder.

This is what it looked like after I took the panel out.  The rust on the sides was just some surface rust that my digital camera made to seem much worse.  I just wire brushed it and then treated it with Eastwoods rust encapsulator.

As you can see on this one I have started applying Eastwood's Rust encapsulator I will then top coat with Zerorust black.

I had these seats in a shed for the last 7 or so years and man I forgot why I took them out of the car in the first place.

30 years is hard on vinyl glad that PUI makes great stuff.  The original covers were from a 70 as you can see the difference in design.

Here are some of the pictures as I am finishing up the install of the rear panel.  I lost my BFH in this picture if anyone has seen it let me know.  :)

I have the panel almost completed.  I need to clean up the sides and then get some black weather stripping caulk and seal up the area around the rear wheel wells.  I need to also finish along the top of the rear panel to firmly secure it as well.  I want to then give a couple of coats of Eastwood's Rust encapsulator to make sure I don't have to go to this trouble again anytime soon.  I will also be treating the inside of the rear quarters as I have easy access to them.  I want to pull the front and rear windshields out and make sure that those areas are clear of any possible rust.  I also want to do some work with the trunk after that.
