Kloble's leading NSU averaged 78 mph for the 400km race. Capable of nearly 109 mph, the 830kg NSUs were advanced for their time. This restored car, chassis number 7583, was reacquired by NSU from Martin Stahn of Berlin in December 1966 in exchange for a new NSU Type 110 car.
