69 Camaro427

Probably the Fastest Car I ever had!

Got this one with a small block 350 in it. After putting about $1,000.
(1975 dollars)into building it, the 350 went.
A friend of mine had a 427 that he pulled out of a 55 Chevy
(owner said it was hurting his 55!).
Sold it to me for a great price. With in the first week it took out my Clutch and U-Joints!
Then a short time later "Bang" my M-21 was also history!
So I put in a M-23 with a Racing Clutch and some new (very) HD U-Joints.
It seemed to like that!
Except for a new clutch disc every now and then it held together
(I think I knew what the guy with the 55 ment now).
Aftter tracking down the guy who had built this Monster .
I found out it was around 12:1 CR, square port heads,
with a Giant Solid Cam , That he wouldn't talk about.

All said and done, this was a wild ride that I will never ever forget!

This was Hot Rodding in 1975.........crude,but it worked.
