It has 16 valve and two counter-rotating balance shafts. Bore and stroke 96 x 80 mm. Unitary and total capacity 579 / 2,316 cc. Compression ratio 10,0:1. Max. power output 155 bhp at 5,700 rpm. 9. New exhaust system, the last part, Volvo original
10. New belt for the overhead camshafts (Volvo original) and no belt for the
balance shafts,
makes the service cheaper but the engine
runs a bit tougher
