You may wonder, what kind of trouble I have had with my Volvo?
I have owned it from 55 k miles until today about 122 k miles.

1. New exhaust system, the last part, Walker
2. Revolution counter giver, Volvo original
3. New water radiator, Volvo original
4. New medium speed tires; Michelin
5. New discs for the front brake, Volvo original
6. New shocks, all four, Monroe SensaTrac
7. New start battery, Varta 60ah
8. New water pump, Volvo original
9. New exhaust system, the last part, Volvo original
10. New belt for the overhead camshafts (Volvo original) and no belt for the balance shafts,
makes the service cheaper but the engine runs a bit tougher
11. New "gasoline computer"

How Volvo characterize my car's engine at the Volvo museum in Gothenburg, Sweden:

In the beginning of 1988, Volvo introduced an interesting engine for the 744 GLT.
The B234F has all the features of a sporty engine, with double overhead camshafts, 16 valves, high power output and lots of torque. Futhermore, it features twin counter-rotating balance shafts in order to counteract engine vibrations.
The shafts are located on the outside of the engine block and are driven by a double-toothed belt. They rotate at twice of the engine speed in the opposite direction of the crankshaft. Power output is 159 bhp (155 when automatic transmission is used, it has smaller gas intake).

Do you want to look at the cylinder head of my car's engine's cylinder head, you have got no choice, here it is:
