My July Corvette of the month is owned by the vetteracers dad...Yep this is
his "other" 63 split-window. Not exactly your average Sunday Driver. Although
this vette is only driven on Sundays, it travels a 1/4 mile at a time in about
9.90 seconds. Don't even ask about fuel mileage!!! This is actually a past
picture. This car flipped end over end at 140 mph. Luckly, dad was only in the
hospital a short time and is almost finished with the "new" car. We will be racing
the Division #3 NHRA trail in '97 and have already secured an engine sponsorship.
Still looking for a couple more sponsors....(hint hint, nudge nudge) The new car
is brand new from the tube frame up. Every and I mean everything is new. This
vette looks scary standing still in grey primer!!! We have a bottle of Dom Periogm (can't spell
it but it was $100!!) waiting for the first pass he makes at the dragstip.
