This page is dedicated to my baby..my 1975 Firebird

Drivetrain:
The original Pontiac 350: 10:1 pistons, Crane 289 hydraulic camshaft, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, Holley 600 CFM 4 barrel carburetor, 2 inch headers (unknown brand)
custom built 2-1/2 inch exhaust: turbo tubes coming off the headers, leading ito Edelbrock Performer RPM mufflers (had to add those to keep the cops off my back *L*)
This combination is producing somewhere between 350-400 horsepower.
Transmission: Turbohydramatic 350 3 speed automatic..which hopefully I will be swapping over the winter for a TH 400 street/strip unit
Rear end: 10 bolt non-posi rear with 2.65 highways gears..which I also planning on changing to either a 10 or 12 bolt posi unit with either 3.73 or 4.11 gears
I figure that changing the rear gears over should give me mid 13's in the quarter on street tires..and hopefully mid 12's to low 13's on slicks....anyone able to figure out these times for me?
I wish it sounded like THIS!! *L*
These pictures were taken in 1993 when I bought the car:

A SAD STORY:

During the winter of 1995/1996 the massive amount of snow we had here in the Northeast collapsed my garage on the car, causing severe damage...I nearly cried when I saw it!!
The roof was crushed in, the air cleaner was knocked through the hood, and the nose piece was broken. The car was in the shop all summer long!! At least I have it back now and can do more work on it.

Here are the pictures of what it looks like now:
