This section has been written to give you an idea what species you can pick. The reason I write this is because I have had some forms that have had races that are not even from Star Trek.
First of all, the race must originate from Star Trek. Either from the Television Series, Movies, or books published with Paramounts permission. We also will consider races seen in Star Trek games, but more about that later.
All races that are enemies of the federation will not be accepted by the Gorn, so they can not be used here. (Dominion, Jem'Hadar, Borg, etc.). Also you are not allowed to pick a Gorn enemy either (which is the Romulan and Kzinti).
If you know of a race from a Star Trek book or game that you really like (and are in this universe. It's hard for a race from Star Trek: Voyager to show up in the Alpha Quadrant). Please state in the species section (PROPOSAL) and I will contact you.
What you will need is a detailed explanation on where the race came from, what is their history (that you know of in IC), why the Gorn would allow them on their ships (officer exchange programs, I know. But the race itself, why would we consider it), and then the race will be brought up to a vote in our forums. Introducing a new race like that needs approval from our crew since we'll recognize it's history
NOTE: We are a Gorn ship. There can only be a certain amount of officer exchange. If you pick Gorn you will probably be approved quicker.
