HISTORY OF THE GSN GORN TALON
GSN Gorn Talon
The GSN Gorn Talon was the sixteenth vessel
of the Black Cluster Task force that was stationed near the Romulan/Gorn border in 2212. It was not
a fancy vessel, but an Old series Frigate with eight phasers and to Plasma launcher. Weak in
the present day fleet of the Gorn Confederation. The vessel was the first to be attacked when the second
Romulan/Gorn war broke out. It fought on the front lines for the full length of the war suffering many
casualties and repairs. The First Senior Commander was Vrr'Skk and he was in command the whole war. He was
killed in the last battle and the GSN Gorn Talon was put in to storage for the middle series vessels would
have room in the fleet. It was mothballed for forty years till the very short Federation War (around 2352) when the Gorn needed
every able ship to get ready for the mass assault from the Federation. The assault never came and by negotiations a
peace treaty was reached. Instead of putting it away again it was left in action as a scout ship and for parades. It's
ner commander was Senior Commander Rr'Kavv Tk'Svv.
The GSN Gorn Talon stayed in commision for fifteen years till it had a Warp engine failure and instead of
spending the money to get it's Warp Engine fixed and all the refits they again mothballed it to be used as scrap metal.
It stayed Mothballed and was canabalized for parts for years till 2376 when it was taken out of mothballs by Star
Base K-4 and was used as an ambassador ship with the third captain Senior Commander Grenta and his first officer Tk'Lnn Vss'Kov.
K-4 was a Star Base that specialized in foreign vessels and
was a Federation/Romulan attempt at peace so the Star Base was in the middle of the Romulan Nuetral zone. The GSN Gorn Talon was sent
there so that they could find out what the Romulan Empire was up to so they won't be surprised by another invasion. The Base did not last long
before the Romulans demanded it removed from the nuetral zone. The GSN Gorn Talon escaped the attack when the Romulans swooped down on the
station and totalled. The Federation rescued all of the crew on the staiton since it was not their long enough to have a full crew. Only 40 injured.
The GSN Gorn Talon retreated and tried to keep a crew going, but it was mothballed because it failed to keep their warp engines working. It was
mothballed for only 2 years when the first officer took command of the vessel and turned it into a special Forces vessel.
The ship was fully re-fitted to be able to function in the 24th century. The ship was designated to do missions that the Gorn Confederation could not do
on their own. They said that they could tell people that the ship was stolen since it was so old and not really part of the fleet.
The first mission was in to Federation space to stop a terrorist at Imenear VII. The mission was
sucsessful mission and the Gorn Confederation decided that the ship was worth to keep in the fleet secretly. The ship rescued a princess from Romulus also, but
when the Gorn Talon attacked a Rogue Romulan freighter to get medicine that they were holding from a colony that was dying and the escort damaged the ship
beyond repair and it barely made it to the dockyards to be abandoned. the whole entire hull was cracked and almost every system destroyed. There was no chance for
the ship to be repaired and so the GSN Gorn Talon came to it's end to be scrap metal.
To Senior Commander Tk'Lnn's surprise he was given a new ship a year later and it was named the GSN Gorn Talon-A A heavy cruiser that was part of the
new Series that was being made. It was launched Stardate 238001.03.
